Millennium Green – HODs

This award winning Millennium Green was created from wasteland by local residents in the year 2000. It provides a safe haven for both people and wildlife close to the busy town centre.

The Millennium Green is a quiet garden with a variety of trees and planting and a small solar powered fountain. It is a registered charity run by the Old Bakehouse Yard Millennium Green Trust. It is open every day from dawn till dusk .Volunteers will be in attendance for Heritage Open Days to speak to visitors about how the Green was established and how it has blossomed over the years. Albums of photographs chronicling this journey will be available to view.
Please do not bring dogs into the garden.
